You understand yourself better than most. So why do the same patterns keep showing up?
Maybe you’re in the middle of a life transition that has shaken your sense of who you are. Maybe you keep ending up in relationships that leave you feeling unseen, or you’re carrying anxiety, sadness, or old pain that never quite lifts. You’ve thought about it from every angle, but insight alone hasn’t brought the change you want. Together, we’ll look beneath the surface at the feelings and patterns that keep you stuck, so you can finally relate to yourself and others in a new way.
On the surface, you seem fine. Inside, something feels off.
We may be a good fit if you:
-Are navigating a breakup, move, new role, motherhood, or another big life transition
-Keep repeating the same painful patterns in your relationships
-Overthink conversations and replay them long after they’re over
-Struggle to know what you need, or feel guilty asking for it
-Push yourself toward perfection and still feel like it’s not enough
-Live with anxiety or depression that has started to feel “normal”
-Carry past trauma that still shapes how you feel and connect today
-Have spent years trying to figure yourself out, yet still feel stuck
-Want to stop having the same painful fights with your partner and feel close again

“There’s something powerful about discovering that the ways we’ve learned to navigate life aren’t fixed, and that we have the capacity to relate to ourselves and others differently.”
How I can help
-
I help you understand why you keep ending up in the same places, so you can finally do something different. I’m warm and curious, and I also promise to hold you accountable to your goals. Over time, you can:
Catch an old pattern as it’s happening, and choose a different response
Understand where your anxiety, low mood, or self-doubt actually comes from
Stop abandoning your own needs to keep a relationship feeling safe
Ease up on the perfectionism and constant self-monitoring
Make sense of past hurts so they stop quietly running your present
Find your footing in a big life change, not just get through it
Feel more like yourself with the people closest to you
-
Warm, engaged, and genuinely curious. We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life right now and gently explore how past experiences and relationships may be shaping how you think, feel, and connect today. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. This is a space for the messy, complicated feelings you might not share anywhere else. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I work under the clinical supervision of Dr. Alexia Holovatyk, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist (PSY32945).
Approaches I draw from:
