Tired, wired, and ready to finally slow down
When anxiety becomes a daily companion, it can feel like your mind is always racing and your body never truly settles. You might look “high-functioning” on the outside—organized, productive, caring—but inside, you’re overwhelmed and struggling to slow down.
Signs you could benefit from anxiety therapy:
Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks (although it can). For many women, it looks like being the one who has it all handled, while quietly running on fumes. Over time, the constant pushing can turn into burnout. You might notice:
-Your mind races at night, replaying conversations or planning for every “what if”
-You feel tense, restless, or on edge, even when things are going fine
-You have physical symptoms like a tight chest, racing heart, or stomach issues
-You overthink decisions and worry about getting things “wrong”
-You hold yourself to impossibly high standards and still feel like it’s not enough
-You struggle to say no
-Rest makes you feel guilty or unproductive
-You feel irritable, short-tempered, or snap at the people you love
-You’ve lost interest in things you used to enjoy, or feel numb and checked out
-You worry constantly about your health, your family, or the future
If you see yourself in this list, you’re not failing. Your nervous system has been working overtime for a long time, and it’s asking for support.
Your drive helps you succeed. But you weren’t meant to live on high alert forever. Now it’s time to feel calm without losing what makes you, you.

You don’t have to keep living on high alert. You don’t have to keep pushing through exhaustion, or waiting for the next wave of worry to pass. Change is possible, and it starts with understanding that your anxiety isn’t the enemy. It’s a nervous system that’s been working overtime to protect you.
Most of the women we work with have already tried to think their way out of anxiety. They’ve read the books, made the lists, and tried to talk themselves down. But anxiety doesn’t only live in your thoughts. It lives in your body, too. That’s why we work with both.
We use evidence-based approaches, including exposure-based CBT and somatic regulation, to help you calm your body’s stress response and gently face the fears that keep you stuck. Avoidance can feel like relief in the moment, but over time it makes anxiety stronger. Together, we’ll help you build the confidence to move toward what matters to you, at a pace that feels safe.

How we help
-
Avoidance is what keeps anxiety going. It makes sense to want to steer clear of what makes you anxious, but every time we avoid it, our brain learns that it really was dangerous, and the anxiety grows.
Think of us as your guides. We’ll help you find the balance between gently facing the fears, worries, and situations that hold you back and keeping you feeling supported along the way. You’re always in charge of the pace.
When you’re ready to lean into the discomfort, you won’t do it alone. Our therapists will be the calm, regulated nervous system in the room with you, so your body can learn something new: you can handle this. Even when your heart is racing. Even when every part of you wants to escape.
We believe deeply in the strength and resilience of every person we work with. Our evidence-based approach goes beyond talking. It helps you feel the change in your body and nervous system, not just understand it.
Most of all, we’ll help you trust yourself again. Instead of being run by worry, you’ll have the tools to slow down, rest, and respond with clarity. That confidence carries into every part of your life: your relationships, your career, and your health.
The modalities we use
-
Anxiety isn’t just in your head. It shows up as a racing heart, a tight chest, shallow breathing, or a body that never fully settles. Somatic therapy helps you notice these sensations and learn simple, body-based tools to calm your nervous system in the moment. Instead of staying stuck in fight or flight, your body learns it’s safe to rest.
-
You might have a part of you that overthinks every decision, a part that pushes you to be perfect, or a part that can’t stop taking care of everyone else. IFS helps you get to know these parts with curiosity instead of frustration. Each one is trying to protect you, often from fears that started long ago. When they feel understood, they can finally relax, and you can make choices from a calmer, more grounded place.
-
When something makes you anxious, it’s natural to avoid it. But every time you avoid it, your brain learns it was dangerous, and the anxiety grows. Exposure-based CBT helps you gently and gradually face the worries, situations, and sensations you’ve been avoiding, one small step at a time. Along the way, you’ll learn to catch anxious thoughts and respond to them differently. Over time, your brain learns that you’re safer and stronger than anxiety tells you.

Yes. Research shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns.
Multiple studies found that telehealth produced similar clinical outcomes to traditional therapy, including for anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related conditions.
Many clients also find it easier to fit sessions into their schedules and feel more comfortable opening up from home. -
It depends on your needs, goals, and the type of support you’re seeking. Some clients notice meaningful change in a few months, while others prefer longer-term support to work through deeper patterns, life transitions, or trauma.

Our standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes long, which research shows is the ideal length for focused, meaningful therapeutic work. If you and your clinician decide that a longer session would be helpful—for example, during trauma work, couples therapy, or deep processing—you can arrange an extended appointment ahead of time.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum, strengthen skills, and create a steady foundation for growth. As you begin to feel more grounded and confident, you and your therapist may shift to biweekly or monthly sessions to support long-term maintenance and integration.
Therapy is always individualized—your clinician will help you find a rhythm that matches your needs, your goals, and your nervous system.
